Rules for Tangrams

The classic rules are as follows:

You must use all seven pieces called Tans, they must lay flat, they must touch and none may overlap. To start with, you simply rearrange the seven Tans to match a number of designs. When you have mastered the predesigned patterns, you can make up you own. These images can be either geometric in nature or patterned after a familiar object. It is not as easy as it first appears.
